The Return to Tactile Design: A Letter From Our Founder on Artallin's Launch

This week marks a major milestone for our team. As recently announced in the press, Artallin has officially launched its inaugural collection. But behind the official press releases and industry news, I wanted to take a moment to share the personal philosophy that brought this studio to life.

Escaping the Era of Flat Decor

Over the past few years, we noticed a frustrating trend in modern interior design. Homeowners and designers were spending countless hours curating beautiful, minimalist spaces—carefully selecting the perfect Wabi-Sabi ceramics, Japandi furniture, and organic textiles. Yet, when it came to the walls, these incredible spaces were being flattened by soulless, machine-printed canvases.

I realized that a modern room shouldn't just be viewed; it should be felt. We needed to return to the physical root of art.

The Power of Raw Materials

That is exactly why we created Artallin. We completely rejected the mass-production model. Instead, our focus is entirely on handcrafted textured paintings. Our independent artists use raw materials—thick oil and acrylic paints applied heavily with palette knives—to build sculptural surfaces that organically interact with your environment.

When you hang one of our large-scale oil and acrylic paintings in your home, the artwork changes dynamically throughout the day. The morning light catches the deep ridges of the impasto, while the warm evening lighting softens the earth-toned palette, creating a deeply grounding atmosphere.

Partnering with the Design Community

We are thrilled to finally share this collection with you. For interior designers, architects, and staging professionals looking to incorporate tactile depth into their upcoming projects, we invite you to join the newly launched Artallin Interior Designer Trade Program.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Welcome to the new era of material-driven art.
